    Dear Lock Family

I never knew Molly Lock but I heard a lot about her and her most amazing life.

You were very blessed to have had someone in the family with such a positive attitude under all circumstances.

I feel sure she will be happy to be compared to Churchill who said

“I am an optimist, it does not seem too much use being anything else”.

Our deepest condolences go out to all the family.

May her dear soul rest in peace

    Yours Sincerely

    Marica and Morris

We are all the better off for her example of living life to the full and bringing energy and positivity to the world. We treasure the memory of seeing her enjoying her 100th birthday gift at the Federer – Nadal match in Cape Town.

I think if you’ve never met a person but have heard so much about them, it’s because they are a person of high standing. I believe Molly was such a person. And so will be missed deeply by those they leave behind. But what a blessing to have known them. I will be thinking of you and hope your sadness will one day be replaced by the many fond memories you must have of her. Much love, Susan

Our thoughts are with you all at this time as you celebrate the glorious life of Mollie. A real shining example to all of us about positivity in life. We only had the privilege to meet her a few time son our, unfortunately, rare trips to visit the extended Ogilvie family in Zim. Always left totally inspired by Mollie. Whilst our kids never got to meet Mollie they loved the stories we were able to share with them from a rare visit or Facebook. In fact Michael, our oldest, has an absolute fear of heights and all it took for him to do the zipwire at the falls in January this year was mention that Mollie had done it. Lovely stories shared during this celebration of her life today. Love Peter, Karen, Michael, Simon, Matthew and Shane Ogilvie

I’m so lucky to have been at school with 4 of this remarkable lady’s sons: George, Martin, Andy and Charles. George will remember the chess game, Martin was a tennis ace – actually all of them were! Andy and my brother flooded the market with their lathe work, And I was lucky enough to be in the same form as Charles who was a cricket ace as well as tennis star. Anyway thoughts for you all at this time – what a n awesome pic of you Mum with Siya Xolisi midst so many other memoroable events in her life.

The last time we saw Mollie was down in Cape Town, sitting at our dining table beaming at what felt like most of her children ( there were actually only 4 of them and their spouses🤣 and a few grandkids scattered inbetween ) – or maybe more likely it was the fact that she was going to be seeing her hero Roger Federer the next day!
Mollie always had a twinkle in her eye – what a wonderful gift to have her as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Thinking of you all
