Today, we gather to honor and remember Aunty Jenny, a beloved soul who touched our lives in countless ways. She was a remarkable woman, radiant in her warmth and kindness, whose smile could light up any room and whose gentle nature brought comfort to all who knew her. Aunty Jenny was not only a daughter, sister, mother, cousin, aunt, and grandmother, but she was also the heart and joy of every gathering. She had that rare ability to make each of us feel special, always bringing laughter and love wherever she went. Her energy and her joy for life left a mark that will remain with us forever.

Though I didn’t have as much time with her as I would have wished, every moment spent with Aunty Jenny was a gift. I will forever cherish the memory of her joining my 50th birthday celebration six years ago. That was the last time I saw her, and I will hold that day close to my heart, grateful for the joy she brought into it.

Today, as we say goodbye, we also celebrate her life—a life full of love, resilience, and joy. We thank God for blessing us with such a wonderful woman, and while our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace. Thank you, Aunty Jenny, for all the love you gave, the laughter you brought, and the precious memories we will carry forward. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Rest well Aunty Jenny – Love always your niece Sharon – Johannesburg South Africa.

A radiant soul, now at peace,
Left footprints of love that never cease.
With laughter, dance, and open heart,
Aunt Jenny’s spirit played its part.

Her doors swung wide, welcoming all,
A haven for those who needed a call.
    Guiding hands, a listening ear,
Through life’s struggles, she stood tall,
Inspiring strength in one and all.
