   Mbuya Gertie. She then (Gertrude Matandire) & I the Jane Marimbe were in the same class @ St Stanislous Primary School Mushagashe Masvingo. She was so smart in class, soft spoken beatiful – those big eyes & infectious smile. My father was a teacher and old but he called her mhai vavo. Saka she was my mbuya vechokwadi. Its so hurtful that we were not in touch because of living far away from each other & couldnt attend your funeral. Zvisinei hazvo Mbuya Gertrude fambai henyu zvakanakusa. RIP.
